  Meet the team

When we say the station is “student-run,” we mean it! Student managers, who hail from
ALL majors, gain valuable leadership experience in the fields of broadcasting, computer
information technology, human resources management, and business administration.
While the faculty advisor assists the managers with financial, legal, and ethical decisions,
the students maintain daily operation of the station. WCVM also employs a broadcast
  engineer.

  The Spring 2008 Management Staff:

  General Manager: Jawann Haynes

It’s hard to believe that Jawann came to Morrisville State College, hoping to study
business. His initial visit to WCVM Media changed his career path forever! A die-hard
Yankees fan, Jawann aspires to become a professional on-air radio talent – but not
necessarily in the sports arena. He plans to become a well-versed broadcasting
entrepreneur, showcasing his broadcasting skills in the areas of programming,
production, and business. Jawann will graduate with his A.A.S in December 2007
and plans to enroll in the upcoming Morrisville State College B.S. degree in
  Videojournalism.

challenges of decision-making. Kendra says she loves WCVM because it resembles
the broadcasting workforce and it’s a great place to practice one’s ethics and professional
code of conduct. She aspires to become a national television news anchor following her
  formal education.
